Love, Simon is...Amazing

Has anyone seen Love, Simon yet? It's amazing. I'm seriously in love with it and ready to go back and see it again. I'll have a more full review on my ShootingStarsMag blog tomorrow, if you want to keep an eye out. However, I'm also taking other people's thoughts about the movie because I hope to share those in a post this Friday. So if you've seen the movie and have something to add, let me know, or if you wrote your own blog review of the film, send me a link and I'll happily share that too!

Now, if Love, Simon is our near you and you aren't sure about seeing it...please, please do! Or buy a ticket or someone who wants to see it. Show the movie studios we want more LGBT+ movies and hopefully Love, Simon will do so well, they'll make them.

Sadly, I missed out on the two preview screenings that happened over here but hat just makes me more determined to see it as early as possible. Preferably opening weekend because apparently that's important for movies?

I really do want people to watch this movie so it isn't the first and last major LGBTQIA+ film that doesn't end tragically. It would be wonderful to see more YA adaptations of LGBTQIA+ books, and more importantly new screenwriters writing stories of their own about LGBTQIA+ teens. Let us hope it happens!

Even though I've already commented on this post, I wanted to come back because I saw Love, Simon on Wednesday night! I absolutely adored it. It was everything I had been lead to believe it was, and everything I wanted it to be. I am so beyond happy that this movie exists, and so grateful for what it means and what it is giving to so many people.
