2011 LGBT Books- What Are They?
The book above was obviously written by this blog's co-creators, Lee Bantle. However...this is a book from last year. And now I'd really like to know what LGBT books are coming out in 2011. I've tried really hard to find a list, but it doesn't seem like anyone has one...I know of some books coming out that fall under this category but I'm hoping you all can help me so I don't miss any. Once I have somewhat of a list, I'll post them all up here for everyone to utilize. Leave your ideas in the comments or email: lauren51990 AT aol DOT com
And since it's February...I will take books that came out in January. It's always worth posting those for everyone to see as well.
So...what LGBT books coming out in 2011 do you know of? And they can be categorized under Adult...but be careful of those so they aren't inappropriate for the site. If you aren't sure, just send them over and say you didn't know.

Great idea!
I have read I Am J by Cris Beam and Hidden by Yomas Mournian. That's all that I know of right now. I can come back and comment/ email if I find more...
Sister Mischief by Laura Goode comes out in July 2011... I'm excited for that one.
Witch Eyes by Scott Tracey is coming out in September. I don't know if it counts, but it's a paranormal book with a gay MC. It looks interesting :)
I forget, but there is a book from Kensignton that is gay out in March about angels and demons or something...
Also check flux. They have Witch Eyes by Scott Tracey and Brent Hardinger's latest along with Sister Mischief.
Julie Ann Peters has a new book out from Little, Brown. Hers are always LGBTQ themed. 'She Loves You, She Loves You Not'. A reprint of her novel 'Pretend You Love Me' (formerly Far From Xanadu) is also happening.
Huntress by Malinda Lo is also coming out!
Alex Sanchez has 'Boyfriends with Girlfriends'...
Along with Hidden and I Am J (both of which were mentioned already, as was Sister Mischief) I don't know of anything at the moment. I'd check online publisher catalogs. Email me if you need anything else and I can probably get some more information on upcoming titles and reprints of the LGBTQ variety.
I'm excited for Witch Eyes, and Huntress by Malinda Lo, and Gemini Bites by Patrick Ryan. Don't know of too many-- John above me is very on top of the releases. :)
I haven't been able to find a list either, so I'm gonna check the ones mentioned above.
Stopping in to say HI and thanks for following me and entering my Handmade giveaway! G'luck! I'm your newest follower! Susie at Scraps of Life
Have you tried Amazon? If you go there, do a search for 'gay fiction' and sort by publication date, you'll find books being published through Nov 2011. It's a good place to start.
The books I'm waiting for at the moment are:
The Enterprise of Death by Jesse Bullington (Fantasy with a lesbian protagonist)
Black Blade Blues by J.A. Pitts (Urban Fantasy with a lesbian protagonist)
Huntress by Malinda Lo (Fantasy with transgender elements)
Eona by Alison Goodman (Fantasy with transgender elements)
Butterfly and the Flame by Dana DeYoung (Science Fiction with a transgender protagonist)
Bil Wright has a new book coming out - Putting Make up on the Fat Boy
Shine by Lauren Myracle
In Neesha Meminger's newest release Jazz in Love, there's a gay South Asian male.
If I run across any more YA novels with LGBT characters I will let you know.
Of the few YA LGBT novels coming out some are getting great covers. Three I am loving Wright's, Huntress by and Boyfriend and Girlfriends by Sanchez
