Looking Toward 2017...

Hello everyone!

How was your Thanksgiving, if you were in the U.S.? Personally, I'm glad it's over. I'd much rather focus on all the fun Christmas events coming up. I'm not a big fan of Thanksgiving day. I did get to see Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them for a second time though - my parents came along and they really loved it! I knew they would though, as they really loved the HP movies too. Seen any good films lately?

I thought I'd do a little mini update post since I haven't posted in a week. I'm reading a lot of LGBT+ fiction though, so there should be more book reviews posted soon!

Right now, though, I wanted to see what you would like to see in 2017:

I'll continue reviewing books, etc. but what else do you want?

Should I bring Etsy Pride back?
Do you like the author Top Ten Tuesday posts?
Do you want more LGBT+ news? Other entertainment related posts? (I do want to add more about music, movies, etc.)

Please share your thoughts!

-Lauren

HOW GOOD WAS FANTASTIC BEASTS?? I'm still on a high from seeing it and I love love being excited about HP again. In regards to what to bring back -- all of your list and include other entertainment posts -- I'm always on the look out for different sorts of music, movies etc.

The Hubs and I just Fantastic Beasts this past Monday with some friends and we really enjoyed it. I totally didn't know that the actress who played Queenie was the singer/songwriter from A Fine Frenzy! Loved her and Jacob's story. Still a bit unsure of the Johnny Depp casting... I think a lesser name would have worked a bit better, but I can't wait to see the rest of the films. And now I can legit read the screenplay book I bought two weeks ago.

I'm kind of meh about Thanksgiving too- but I had a good one. It's just that I prefer Halloween and Christmas.

Looking forward to all the things on your blog!

Merry Christmas! I'm glad you didn't really enjoy your Thanksgiving all that much but I love this time of the year because there's so much FOOD. And then since Christmas is coming, OMG, CHRISTMAS, I just know there is going to be more food. :) Yes, I'm a perpetually hungry individual. teehee!

Please tell me everything about Fantastic Beasts! But don't spoil it for me, lol! I love to hear LGBT news and events. I feel like you give me news and things to think about. More of that please. I also like the LGBT reviews, of course. But seriously, everything you post is good, so don't change a thing.

Fantastic Beasts does sound fun, I'll hope to watch the movie eventually. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but I am looking forward to Christmas.

I am not really sure what I would like to see on your blog. I like the type of posts you've done so far.

I normally like thanksgiving, but with issues in my family right now, I missed out on one side of my family's dinner. :-( I LOVED Fantastic Beasts and really need to go see it again. I do also love Christmas though. Hoping all my family issues get solved by then. I've made up with my dad, hoping I can get my sister to see the light too.

I really like your author Tuesdays, keep doing those for sure!
